Your favorite liquid cosmetic isn’t available in travel size?

Fill a contact lens case so you don’t have to bring the entire container. Also great to keep in your purse for after flight touch ups. Need more space then that? Pour product into travel size bottles and seal (I have a tip for that too).

Tired of your palettes cracking ? Need to repair one that is already broke?

Place a cotton ball or cotton pad (depending on palette shape) inside your powdered makeup compact and close it as normal. This will help keep the product compressed in the compact and prevent it from shattering in your beauty bag. If you have already broken a palette pour some rubbing alcohol on it, reshape it with a make up brush and leave it open on a flat surface. It will be good as new once it’s had fully dried.

Liquid spilling out inside your bag?

Place some plastic wrap under the cap of your travel size bottle to help seal the fluid or lotion in. Then screw the cap back on over the plastics and Voila! No more spills. (Use pieces of recycled plastic bag if you don’t have plastic wrap.) You can also place tape around the cap and over the mouth of the bottle to add additional security.

Store perfume, body wash and other delicate items like deodorant inside both pairs of a sock and then place inside your shoes. It will keep them from breaking or being squished in your luggage. It will also help your shoes keep it’s natural shape.
