Outfit of the Day #66: Polka Dot Party
Hey girl hey ! Back at it again killing two trends in one post. Polka-Dots have been giving us all kind of retro vibes for the new year. It’s been spotted on the runway and on the red carpet. There are so many ways to incorporate these dots into your waredrobe. They come in an array of different colors and sizes. Whether it’s your outfit or your accessories that are dotted this print is classic and super chic. I’m tackling the suede trend and the polka dot trend today. This polka dot chiffon blouse is my latest thrift find. Never underestimate your local thrift shop, one woman’s trash could be another one’s trends. Blouse features a black satin stripe that starts at the shoulder and makes it’s way down the full bishop sleeves. Spotted blouse has elastic at the cuffs and hem for which gives the top it’s volume. The blouse’s wide neckline calls for a statement necklace or a pendant necklace with a long chain. Top is sheer so I am wearing a black crop top underneath for modesty.
I paired blouse with a high waist suede pant by MYNT1792. I absolutely adore these pants, and you babes know I am not a pants person. These trousers give you that corporate boss lady look with out the usual discomfort that comes with career wear. Pants have a stretchy waistband, in-seam pockets and a smooth hand thanks to the suede. There is a black faux leather stripe down the side of the pant leg similar to a tuxedo style. These pants are sophisticated and very comfortable. Pants are perfect for long days, effortless style, and slaying the trends. I accessorized look with a black faux leather handbag, adorned with a polka dot scarf. I wanted to show you another way to try the trend if your are on the fence about this retro print. Start with something small like an accessory or basic wear. Maybe sunglasses, a clutch or a scarf. I used my spotted scarf to accessorize my bag and pull the look together.

Happy Tuesday Shoeday loves ! Today I’m reviewing these pointed toe flats by Charlotte Russe+. I was browsing the website last weekend and thought to myself it’s time for some new shoes. Perfect timing, Fall is around the corner.
I landed on these fabulous faux leather snake skin flats. The print and shoe style are right on trend for the upcoming season. This pointed toe style is available in sizes 6 – 10. They add sophistication and effortless style to any look. Priced at $22.99, these flats put a feminine twist on the classic loafer.
Sleek and chic, these flats have a skinny buckled strap around the ankle that add a vintage feel. The stitching at the toe captures the true essence of the loafer. These shoes feature a 0.25″ heel, 2.5″ shaft, lightly cushioned insoles and non-skid rubber soles. Like all faux leather it’s a little stiff initially so I definitely recommend breaking them in prior to wearing them out. I think these monochrome snake skin flats will be one of my go to shoes for the fall season.
